The practice is new. The work is not.

I write about principles, systems and judgement, for leaders navigating their own work and the teams they lead. I run Oxime Partners, an advisory practice that builds the operating models, ways of working and leadership systems that hold after I leave. Marketing is usually the way in.

In my words

I joined the LEGO Group in 2001 as it was heading toward bankruptcy and stayed twenty-five years, across seven leadership roles and six functions I mostly had to build before I could run them. I was on the hook for the outcome each time: I carried the budgets, beat the targets, and handed over systems that still run today. Most advice about reinvention comes from people who watched it. Mine does not.

The name is a chemistry reference. An oxime is an antidote that does not act on the body directly: it restores an enzyme the body already has, so the body can do the work itself.
